Ancient History 101 is an educational entertainment podcast discussing everything to do with the worlds of ancient Greece, Rome and their neighbours.

Every episode will feature a guest expert who will tell us everything we need to know about a specific historical figure, place, event or piece of art and literature.

Your host is Alexandra Sills, an ancient historian from the UK, who will chat with our specially selected experts about the topic of the week. Together, we will find out everything we need to know about every aspect of the ancient Mediterreanean.

Each of our experts has been chosen because they know their topic like the back of their hand, whether it's a text, an event, or a biography. As well as being perfectly positioned to provide us with an introduction to the basics, they're the ideal people to help us delve a little deeper, so that we can truly explore each subject properly.
